Indie is Around the Corner!
It’s hard to believe but we’re a few days away from our Fifth event weekend! and Yes, it does take a village to make this all come together. Thank you everyone involved!
We have fantastic sponsors and partners on board this year. Pihl Excavating stepped in early as a presenting sponsor and we hope that relationship grows. We are also really excited about the involvement and support from California Pizza Kitchen who has selected our event as their first taste-test for a new line of pizzas. Have you seen their new ads focusing on wine pairings? It’s a great fit for our guests who can use their palates this year to influence the final selected flavor choice with their vote on Saturday.
As the founder of this small start up, this economy has defnitely made me stop and wonder if our little non-profit can sustain major bumps in the road and it is only with the support from organizations like CPK, Pihl, Travel Portland, Hotel Vintage Plaza, Ten 01, among others, that has allowed us to move forward with optimism. So, with that, I will take a deep breath, enjoy the anticipation of all those amazing wines and fantastic dishes we will enjoy this weekend and hope to see you at one of the most special wine events I’ve ever been to – OK, I’m biased but really, it’s cool, no?
